- A typical residential scrap metal pickup takes 1 to 3 hours depending on how much material you have and where it's located. If it's piled up in the backyard or scattered across a garage and yard, it takes longer than if it's already staged near the driveway.
- Some of your scrap may actually have value. Copper, aluminum, and brass fetch real money at recycling facilities. If you have a significant amount of non-ferrous metal, we will let you know before we haul it so you know what you're working with.
- Heavier items like water heaters and AC units may need to be moved with a dolly or hand truck. If they're on a second floor or behind other stuff in a garage, access is the main thing that affects how long the job takes.
